Steve Kuttruff enters his third season as the La Salle Men's and Women's diving coach. "La Salle gives me the opportunity to work with great athletes, coaches and administrators while building a championship swimming and diving program both in the pool and in the classroom," says Kuttruff. Kuttruff is a graduate of Penn State University ('89) and competed for the Lions from 1985-87. Since returning to the Philadelphia area, he has established the Centennial Diving Team which recently captured the 2009 USA Diving Spring Region 2 Championship and was the 2009 USA Diving Summer Zone A Runner Up. "Steve has a great reputation as a coach and, more importantly, he has learned what it means to be part of La Salle University in the short time he has been here," says La Salle head coach Matt Nunnally. "His attention to detail and passion for the sport is contagious and is making a lasting impression on our program." In addition to daily coaching duties, Kuttruff will contribute to the team's management and recruiting responsibilities. Kuttruff is a member of USA Diving and holds degrees in Art (Penn State University '89) and Education (West Chester University '05). He currently resides in Jenkintown, PA. |
