 La Salle Senior Kate McClung Honored By Atlantic 10
Philadelphia, PA - Senior Kate McClung of the women's crew names was named to the Atlantic 10 Academic All-Conference team for the 2004 season. McClung, who boasts a 3.78 grade point average in accounting was one of 11 rowers to be named to the team. This season McClung competed as a member of the Varsity 8 which captured first place against Delaware and Lehigh. As a member of the Varsity 8, also claimed the top spot at the Marietta Invitational. She was also the recipient of the 2004 Female Student-Athlete Award at La Salle for accomplishments both athletically and academically. McClung has also earned a spot on the Dean's List each semester as well as being a member of the Honor's program at La Salle. She is also a member of the Beta Alpha Accounting Honors Society, and will be inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma business Honor Society.
