PHILADELPHIA, PA- La Salle University's Athletic Department has been heading a community outreach Program called Project Teamwork for the past ten years, mainly putting their time into their adopted school, Logan Elementary. Throughout the year different sports teams host clinics during Logan’s gym classes. This time the Men's Basketball Team taught kids specific drills and technique exercises to help improve their game.

 

The basketball clinic consisted of four technical stations: ball handling, shooting drills, defensive moves, and rebounding drills. The entire team was there to teach kids the drills that they use everyday in practice. The session ended with each team member talking to the students about the importance of hard work and  education.
